That’s right folks we traveled all the way to Indianapolis Indiana for Horror Hound Weekend on September 7-9. We had the chance to talk to all sorts of famous people but we were a bit more interested in the Indies that were part of Elvira’s Horror Hunt contest and some others that just finished their films. Check out the show for the main interview with the folks from the award winning Dead Weight and just finished and printed film Darksyde- Hell Walks the Earth 2. We all chatted with an indie artist and writer and got an amazing shout out from a local ghoul. We had 100′s more interviews but we trimmed it down to this for the show.

Hell has risen to the earth and heated the Midwest to unbearable temperatures. Satan himself stepped foot into the plains of the Indiana desert and bellowed “Fuck this shit.” After nearly a month of painful attempts, many curse words, and the sacrifice of nearly a dozen chickens we have put together a new show for you fiends. The boyz watched an underground biker exploitation film known only as Dear God No and it is the real reason Satan is walking our dirt. The devil suggests this film to all naked nuns and we kinda sorta agree. Days of the Dead Indianapolis recap

It is one hour of just my sweet deep love song type voice this week people. I put ep. 27 together solo style since I am the only one that went to the Days of the Dead horror convention. I spent a bit of time looking around the show but most of it was spent hanging out with the Dear God No guys and crashing the Medium Bus podcast table. I must mention that I met and got pictures with many “Traumatic Actors” from the horror scene and I will be sprinkling them around.

I feel like I should mention that several people from the Dear God No film have listened to our podcast walk-through on it. Apparently film makers do not care for 90 minute reviews of 75 minute movies. I got an inside scoop that we gave away all the “reveals” to their picture and that does not bode well with those that invested money in a story.  We did spoil all the good parts of the movie but I never once felt like these scenes and situations needed to be kept under wraps. I feel this film stands taller on my 4th viewing of it than the first one. Sure I was a little surprised by a couple of things in it but for a man who has seen Serbian Film and Shogun’s Sadism nothing shocks me and NOTHING surprises me. Dear God No is not a film like 6th Sense where when you find out Willis is dead the whole time (oh god M. Nite Doughbagalon is going to hate me) that there is no reason to EVER watch it again. Dear God No is more than a handful of surprises, it is more than an ending, it is more than just an exploitation movie, I think it may possibly be art. I hate that someone was ticked about our podcast (who I don’t know but they removed all links and traces of the episode yet keep posting reviews bashing the film and sent me a msg of disappointment) but I stand by what I do and beside putting a text spoiler alert on the show it stands as it is. A wise man with a scruffy beard once told me “Never change your fucking style or ways… it is your show, do it how the fuck you wanna do it.”

With that off my chest I feel energized to ruin another movie for all you at home. Look forward to Manifesto being back next week (hopefully) and we will be discussing The Raid. Now here are a few pictures of me, my mohawk, and famous horror actors.

Ep. 26 Dear God No Holds Barred Review

After figuring out the proper sacrifice Manifesto and I were finally able to record a full show without a single interruption. The movie of choice was Dear God No and to be honest it was a film that I was horrified by in the first viewing of but after watching it a couple more times found a strong love for. So in this show I spend most of the time trying to convince Manifesto this wasn’t just a film, it is art. Please have a listen and find a copy of the film to watch because the Dear God No cock stroking is far from over with. I recently went to a local screening of the film and met several of its creators. Don’t forget to follow us on Facebook folks… it is the most current information hub for us to communicate.
